Working the land.

Today we broke down and purchased a gas powered lawn mower. We have a fairly small yard but it is mostly grass and it grows like nobody's business! Dana and I will probably take turns tending to the lawn as it will likely require biweekly mowing.

Now I'd go roll around in it if I wasn't afraid of wood ticks!

I don't get why electrical meters aren't like the one in that photo here in Arizona. It's utterly stupid to put the fuse panel OUTSIDE so that anyone can turn off the power to your house (and your security system) should they so wish.

Afraid of wood tics? Entonophobia? Wear long socks while mowing and don't go outside from April til July and you should escape the bite of the tic!
MY FEAR=Kaktosophobia
Can you guess it?
