As you know, we just completed our move to the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. I am home now from my second day at work which is still mainly filling out paperwork and observing things. It does seem that once I start actually working it will be quite busy. I'm struggling in learning to wake up at obscenely early hours again and Dana as been busily nesting in our house.
It is hard to accurately describe life so far as we've not settled into a routine and we've barely seen Dana's family but my first impressions can pretty much be summed up by the above image. It is hard for me to provide a description of what -16° feels like but let me just say that I have a gallon jug of water in my car the freezes to a solid rock when I'm parked in the garage at work and I'm convinced the denim jeans can actually freeze while you are wearing them. This is not for the faint of heart my friends, but I will survive.

wow, that's horrible. I think it was in the 80s here today - almost had to wear a long sleeve shirt to work today.
Hahahaha! I also hear your car is unrecognizable! How do you like stepping in mud snow sloshers? Have your nose hairs frozen together? Have you peed in a snowbank? Had hot fingers when you came in cuz they were borderline frostbit? Licked a stop sign? HAVE YOU STOOD ON A FROZEN LAKE?!!! Get woking on your bucket list already!
Welcome to Minnesota!
white bear lake has a plunging into the water going on this weekend...Wanna take a dive? It's for a good cause!!!
